I'm not even going to add color to my font! I hate this year completely. I can't wait for it to be over because I know 2010 is going to be AMAZING. If I survive until then. I'm not even going to write anymore in this year. Next year maybe! So there!

Mailbox woes.

My mom is the picture of innocence. She never swears. Never smokes. Never drinks. She is like a big puffy white cloud of goodness and love.

That being said, let me set the scene for you.

She came home from work yesterday, like any normal day. Prolly praying in the car as she drove home .. sometimes singing along to some sad country song. Just like any other day. She parks in our driveway, there is prolly a rainbow over head, nice beautiful day. She's all ready to come inside and relax. She goes to the mailbox, like she does everyday. Birds prolly fly nearby .. one might land on her shoulder like shes Cinderella. She opens the mailbox.

And what do you think she finds inside? Sitting right on top of her mail. What would be in this lovely womens mailbox??

My brothers stupid friends have been driving each other crazy with this thing. One of them made it and another put it in ones mailbox. Then they turned around and put it in Scott Allens mailbox. AND OUT DEAR DEAR MOTHER FOUND IT. . Oh, I love my brother.

I begged her to reinact this for me. She said she opened the mailbox and stepped back " At first I thought it was a snake!!! "

Then she looked closer and she stepped back with her hands on her cheeks, looked around the neighborhood and yelled " Who did this?! "

AAHAHAHAHAHAA

She flew into the house and yelled at my dad! She told me " I thought he got it out of some garage somewhere! "

AHAHAHAA

So there they were, my mom and dad , standing in the street peering at this thing. Two people in the world I am sure have never had sex in their lives.

AHAHAHAHA

THEN!!!

They blamed it on our next door neighbor. My dad actually knocked on the guys door. " Are you messing with my mail?! "

So then it was the three of them standing in the street peering into the mailbox at this thing!

My neighbor reeled backwards holding his chest " OH MY GOD "

My dad got some paper towels and carried it into the garage, where it currently resides.

So, I got the story when I woke up. But my mom, being the saint that she is, wouldn't say WHAT was in the mailbox.

I was like " WHAT WAS IT?! "

And dad was like " Well, take her into the garage and show her "

Mom led me into the garage. She said " I told him to take it out of the house "

And there it sat.

I died laughing and mom was like " Do you know what that is?! "

Oh...oh my God. AHAAHAHAHA

Dad was telling my brother how messing with people's mail is a federal offense. AHAHA

And when it was all said and done my moms final say on the subject was " Well, it isn't very nice. "

My mind is breaking.

So, ok. Sometimes when I find myself on the internet for a long time I tend to wander. Sometimes into things I shouldn't wander into. I sometimes think about people I've known and wonder what they are up to. Today I had the thought " What are my stripper boys up to "

This wasn't the first time. But just to have a heads up in case you are wondering, strippers don't tend to use their own names. So I've not had any luck finding them. UNTIL TODAY.

He woke me up...he opened my eyes..he intoxicated me with his very essence. There is NO WAY he was gay.

What if he was though?? I MEAN WHAT IF HE WAS?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What if I was THAT attracted to a man that would never want me because I'M NOT A MAN! What does that say about me??? Am I a closet gay man? It wouldn't matter! I don't have the parts that he would want! OMG. My mind is breaking.

I refuse to think about it anymore. Joey wasn't gay. He was perfect. He was beautiful and perfect and he has a beautiful life somewhere, where he's very happy. He's right now wondering what I am up to. Yeah.yeah.

I have hope. I mean, he never seemed into it really. He had no coordination when it came to dancing. He was just a guy...right?

Worst hour in life

It's called a Spinning Class.

OOOOHHH MMMYYYY GGOOOOOODDD!

OK, it sounds really easy and nothing I could write would do it justice but I'm going to try!

For an hour you are riding for your life, on a stationary bike, on the worst most uncomfortable seat in the world.

Luckliy, you get a break from the seat for very long chunks of time when you are instructed to stand up while riding.

So, there I am.

The room is dark, with some purple lighting. There are three rows of bikes about 10 per row. I'm surrounded by old 65 year old ladies and some really fat ladies and a couple completely perfect ladies and Dana huffing and puffing next to me. At least I wasn't alone in that! Everyone else seemed to be completely at ease. Am I this out of shape? Was I on some jokester tv show? I'm convinced that one super fat girl was really a perfect girl in a stuffed fat suit there to motivate everyone else. It's like...geeez. If SHE can move like that...I need to come here everyday. I'm sure thats her job. Cause she did good!!

Anyways..back to the horror.

This is what the instructor sounded like.." OK GIRLS! uP! rIDE ! Make it harder..push girls you can do it! Now down..sit down. Ride girls push it!! Stand back up! Straighten your back! OK..We're gonna sit for 8 seconds and stand for 8 seconds...!! "

WHAT???

So..there I was sitting and standing and sitting and standing..

Then.. " OK!! Lets sit for 4 seconds and stand for 4 seconds!!! "

NO!!

I couldn't even do that if my legs weren't peddling for their lives on a bike!

So, for that I just sat. And peddled.

Well, I made it through the class. Without throwing up, which at one point was a great concern. I find that alone a huge victory.

Finally she told us we were done. But now it's time to stretch. We started to stretch our arms, still sitting on the bike, so that was ok.

Then it was time to stand up and stretch our legs. This is a huge challenge when you suddenly realise you have no bones in your legs!

I couldn't stand! And the lady was like " OK GIRLS! lEFT LEG STRAIGHT RIGHT LEG BENT KNEE THIS WAY FOOT THAT WAY BACK STRAIGHT..."

And this was me.. I was inbetween my bike and Dana's bike holding onto both handlebars, huffing and puffing knees buckling trying very hard to at least face the same way as the class was...nothing was straight or bent...I was a messsssssssssssssssssss

So, of course then she says " OK GIRLS LETS FACE THE BACK OF THE ROOM AND ... "

DON'T YOU HATE IT WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BACK TRYING TO HIDE AND THE TEACHER PULLS A GREAT BIG SWITCH A ROO ON YOU AND SUDDENLY YOU ARE IN THE FRONT OF THE CLASS..
oH OY.

It wasn't pretty.

Finally, it was over. No more bending or stretching...

Now I have to walk out of the classroom and to my car - still with no bones in my legs.

I was walking like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz...my knees kept giving out on me buckling under me..I was holding onto countertops and walls..all the while holding onto Dana too because she's falling all over the place.

There is exactly one step that you have to walk down from the gym to get to the parking lot. I went down the step and we are talking...I look over and Dana's arms flew up over her head, her legs gave way and the girl is sitting on the ground.

We literally fell out of the gym.

Not to mention the crazy strong wind that day. When you don't have any bones, wind is not your friend. We are lucky to be alive.

So..that's the spinning class. More next week.

Okay, today was doctor day.

I lost 1.4 pounds.

15 pounds total and it hasn't been a month yet.

I'm feeling a little blah about it though. 1.4? That one guy on that celebrity fitness show would tell me he could poo more weight out then that.

But I haven't cheated!! Not even at all. I have been working out and everything.

I need to work out more. And they keep telling me how important it is to drink WATER. I have to drink more water. And ... I HATE IT. But she promises it will make a difference. So, I'm gonna do it. I'm really trying.

Went back to the doctor yesterday.

I lost 1.8 pounds.

That's 14 total pounds!!

I was a little bummed that it wasn't more but then she had me hold this really big disgusting block of fat that weighed ten pounds. And it was alot!! She said " See? You lost that plus half of another one. Be proud of yourself! "

That's why I like this place. They are very encouraging! I think it's gonna work.

So, I've been losing weight since I went to the doctor. It's working!

It's only day 4. But I weighed myself yesterday and have lost 5 pounds.

The pills really work!! When they say appetite suppressant they mean it. I was not hungry! Even with food right in front of me, I didn't eat it all. Stranger things have happened, I know. But not to me.

I'm very happy so far. After today, I go into stage two. That means I can have a lot more veggies. I'm in that stage for two weeks, and then I can have fruit too.

This is totally doable.

I have unfortunate news for everyone I know, everyone I have ever known and all the people I will eventually meet and even, sadly, to my unborn children.

You must all report to the Hard Rock Casino for duty because I have bet you all .. and lost.

I don't know what it is, it's like a high when you have the hope to win. It's not even really about the money. Or even winning. It's the high that you get while that little ball is rolling around and anything can happen. I can't describe it. It's so much fun. It's not like " Oh..I won..let's go..." Ohhh nooo....it's " Ok..I won. I have more to play with..LET IT RIDE! "

I think that is where the line is drawn between normal people and truely sick people. And I am so far behind the truely sick line, I'm just accepting it. Some things you just have to accept in life. Like my crazy curly hair. It started out a mess and it was out of control...and it still is but eventually once I accepted that it was apart of me I grew to love it. So I'm sick..I'm a sick sick gambler. Things could be worse. I could be..a serial killer. Thats MUCH WORSE. Or a drug addict..Or a drinker..I'm not even a smoker. So this is my addiction.

Gambling was force fed to me at a very young impressionable age. I grew up at the track! To THIS DAY there is nothing more exciting then the last stretch of a horse race, when all the old cigar smoking gambling men stand up- then start jumping up and down- screaming at the top of their lungs for their number to GET UP THERE. Yesterday I went to a weight loss doctor.

I'd been thinking about it for awhile and I had the money to do it so I just went.

It seems like it might really work! She gave me appetite suppressants and fat burners and I got a B-12 shot. They did a physical and an EKG and they TRIED to do bloodwork but I HAVE NO BLOOD! They tried in 3 different places. It turns out if you don't drink so much its not good for your veins..they disappear. Soo..that alone tells me I need to do SOMETHING. I haven't felt healthy in a looooooooooooong time.

I will have to go there every week to be weighed and talk to the nurse about my diet and excercise...so that kinda gives incentive to actually stick with this rather then just blow it off. I've tried ALOT of other diets and nothing has stuck. I'm really relying on the pills to work. The pills and the B-12 shots are suppose to give you energy too. Thats A HUGE draw. I haven't had any of that since ... I don't know when. I think its starting to work already! I am not dead tired like I am used to being.

I'm very positive about this! I REALLY want to loose the weight. They told me my ideal weight is 175. So, I have a ways to go but I was talking to the nurses that worked there and they were on it. One of them had lost 72 pounds! 72 POUNDS!!! Another girl had lost 69 pounds already. And I know they are telling the truth because a lady at work is on this program and since February she has lost almost 50 pounds.

I'm going to stay on this and make it work for me too. I know I'd be a different person if I felt better about myself. I'm done waiting around and dreaming about things to happen. I'm, right now , starting to make changes. This is my first step.
